Mohammed Salisu, Kojo Oppong Peprah, and Caleb Yirenkyi have arrived at the Black Stars training camp in Casablanca, increasing the total number of players to 23 as the team prepares for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic.
Arrival and Training Schedule
The three players reached Casablanca on Monday evening and are set to travel to Meknes with the team on Tuesday to finalize their preparations for the match scheduled for Wednesday. Mohammed Salisu and Caleb Yirenkyi previously participated in the last qualifier against Mali in Accra, while Kojo Oppong Peprah, receiving his first call-up following a commendable performance with OGC Nice in Ligue 1, has yet to make his debut for the Black Stars.
They are anticipated to engage in a training session with the rest of the team in Meknes on Tuesday, vying for a spot in the lineup for Wednesday’s game.

Ghana will compete against the Central African Republic at Stade D’Honneur de Meknes, with kickoff set for 16:00 GMT on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
The Black Stars are striving for their fifth World Cup appearance and currently lead Group I with 19 points, having just two matches remaining in the qualifying round.
Current Team Status
The only player missing from the squad at this point is FC Basel defender Jonas Adjetey, who is expected to join the team on Tuesday.
