Mohamed Salah Hits 250 Goals For Liverpool To Join Elite Legends

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has reached yet another remarkable milestone in his glittering Liverpool career, scoring his 250th goal for the club in a 2–0 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Saturday at Anfield.

The 33-year-old became just the third player in Liverpool’s history to achieve the feat, joining the legendary Ian Rush (346 goals) and Roger Hunt (285) in the club’s all-time top scorers list.

Salah now stands proudly in third place, ahead of icons such as Gordon Hodgson and Billy Liddell.

Speaking after the game, the Egyptian captain couldn’t hide his joy: “It’s a great feeling to score for such a big club. I’m so happy,”

Salah told TNT Sports with his trademark smile.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot was full of praise for his talisman, hailing both his offensive brilliance and defensive work rate.

“250 goals, it’s almost unbelievable. He was outstanding in attack, but he also helped the team defensively. That’s what made his performance special tonight,” the Dutchman said.

Salah’s strike also came at a crucial moment for the Reds, who ended a run of four straight league defeats with the victory.

After a slow start to the campaign by his high standards, the Egyptian king has now scored in back-to-back Premier League matches, once again proving his enduring importance to Liverpool’s success.
