Mohamed Salah Encouraged to Contact Messi as Liverpool Star Considers MLS Transition

Mohamed Salah’s Future in Question as January Transfer Window Approaches

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah finds himself in a precarious situation as the transfer window for January nears.

Meeting Sparks Speculation

Salah was seen dining with Jordan Henderson in Chelsea, where they engaged in a 90-minute conversation that reportedly centered around the Saudi Pro League following Henderson’s departure from Al-Ettifaq.

Uncertain Times at Liverpool

The forward’s position at Liverpool has become increasingly unstable. There are reports of tension between him and manager Arne Slot, with Salah feeling as though he has been unfairly treated, leading to his exclusion from the team for the upcoming Champions League match against Inter Milan. He has hinted that the game against Brighton may be his final one for the club before the transfer window opens.

MLS Interest and Encouragement from Commissioner

Amid rumors of interest from the Saudi League, MLS has also emerged as a possible destination for Salah. MLS Commissioner Don Garber has encouraged him to reach out to Lionel Messi for insight into life in the United States.

“I’d suggest he should connect with Leo (Messi) and Thomas Muller to understand their happiness and success in Major League Soccer,” Garber stated. “We would certainly welcome Mo with open arms if he ever decides to join.”

The new team, San Diego FC, co-owned by Egyptian-British billionaire Mohamed Mansour, has been linked with the possibility of signing Salah. Garber expressed his views on Salah and his current contract situation with Liverpool.

“I’ve come across some rumors regarding Mo Salah. We strongly believe in the integrity of contracts, which is an aspect of American business. Mo is currently under contract with Liverpool, and they’re a fantastic team.”
