Minnesota United Announces Former Man United Coach Ramsays Appointment at West Brom

Eric Ramsay Set to Succeed Ryan Mason at West Brom

Transition from Minnesota United to West Brom

Minnesota United has announced that former Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay will take over the managerial position at West Bromwich Albion, replacing Ryan Mason.

Ramsay, who is 33 years old, transitioned from his coaching role at Manchester United to manage Minnesota United in March 2024, marking his inaugural season as a head coach.

Achievements at Minnesota United

During his tenure, Ramsay guided the MLS team to their highest-ever league position, achieving a commendable fourth place in the Western Conference in 2025, with a remarkable tally of 16 victories and 58 points.

Although there were rumors of Ramsay potentially moving to Strasbourg to succeed current Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior, he is now set to take the reins at West Brom following Mason’s dismissal.

Minnesota United has officially confirmed Ramsay’s exit, and his assistant manager, Dennis Lawrence, will also move with him to the Championship club.
