Algerian giants ES Sétif have appointed Serbian coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojević as their new head coach, signing him on a contract that runs until June 2027.
The club confirmed the move on Wednesday, citing the need to restore technical balance and strengthen the squad during the season.
Athletic director Ezaldin Arab recommended Sredojević for the role.
Sredojević brings vast African experience He previously managed Orlando Pirates, Zamalek SC, Al Merrikh, and several national teams.
He had been a free agent since leaving Sudanese side Al Merrikh in April, after just three months, over payment disputes.
ES Sétif hope the Serbian tactician can inject stability and drive results in the coming months, as the club looks to challenge for domestic honours and make an impact on the continental stage.
