The 26-year-old striker has been in exceptional form this season, netting 14 goals in just 10 games for Real Madrid. The injury occurred in the 83rd minute of the match against Azerbaijan, where he scored one goal and provided an assist.

“The head coach, Didier Deschamps, has officially confirmed that Kylian Mbappé will not participate. He is available to return to his club and will not be replaced in the squad,” stated the FFF in their announcement.
