Donte Martin Signs Professional Contract with Crystal Palace

Donte Martin has officially entered a professional agreement with Crystal Palace. The young striker made his way to the club two years ago after showcasing his talent at Sutton United, where he gained valuable experience in senior football.

Player’s Excitement

In a statement on the club’s website, Martin expressed his surprise and joy at the early progression in his career.

“It’s not something I expected for myself so soon – but it’s happened. To be playing at Crystal Palace, in South London… I’m from south, so it means the world to play here. It’s every boy’s dream to be in a position like mine, so I’ll take it with both hands.”

Support from the Academy

Gary Issott, the Academy Director, spoke highly of Martin’s development since joining the club at the U15 level. He highlighted Martin’s impressive performance last season with the U16 squad and noted his smooth transition to the U18 team, where he has already scored three goals in five appearances this season.
