Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca Confirms Outcasts’ Status
No Return for Sterling and Disasi
Chelsea’s head coach, Enzo Maresca, has stated that the club’s sidelined players have no path to reintegration.
Maresca revealed that he has not interacted with Raheem Sterling or Axel Disasi since the new season kicked off.
Players Urged to Seek New Clubs
Both players have been encouraged to explore opportunities elsewhere, yet they remain under contract with Chelsea as the Premier League transfer window has officially closed.
Maresca commented, “Although they are still Chelsea players, currently they are training apart from the rest of the team, and this arrangement will persist.”
He added, “Since the season began, I haven’t had any contact with either Axel or Raheem. They are utilizing a separate training schedule on a different pitch. I have not seen them since the start of the season.”
