The 39-year-old goalkeeper shared at a fan event on Sunday (as reported by DPA) that he anticipates being back in the starting XI when Bayern faces Wolfsburg to kick off 2026 next week.

“I’m feeling quite well. Today, I joined the team for parts of training, and I’m confident that I’ll be in goal against Wolfsburg in the next home game,” Neuer expressed.
