Manchester Uniteds Strong Interest in Elliott Anderson Amidst Forests High Valuation
Manchester United Pursues Elliot Anderson Amid Nottingham Forest’s Firm Stance
Manchester United has taken a significant step towards acquiring Elliot Anderson, but Nottingham Forest is insisting on a steep price.
Ruben Amorim’s team is planning a major midfield revamp next summer, with the 23-year-old Anderson being one of their key targets.
As per reporter Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United has shown a ‘solid interest’ in the England player; however, Nottingham Forest is unwilling to part ways with him for a low fee.
The club is said to be hesitant about letting him go and is reportedly looking for a sum in the range of £100–120 million for Anderson.
United faced a similar situation with Brighton regarding Carlos Baleba, who was also priced similarly, which led them to withdraw from negotiations for the Cameroon international this summer.
