Harry Maguire is set to receive a new contract at Manchester United.

The seasoned defender’s existing contract is set to conclude at the end of the current season.

United Dismissed Summer Approaches

According to reports from The Sun, Manchester United turned down offers for Maguire during the summer at the request of manager Ruben Amorim.

It was also Amorim who advocated for the club to activate Maguire’s one-year extension option back in January.

New Contract with Altered Terms

The 32-year-old is now expected to be presented with a new contract by United, although it will be offered at a lower rate compared to his current salary of £190,000 per week.
