According to reports, Manchester United has been monitoring the performance of 18-year-old center-back Fernandez throughout the current season.

Contract Details

Fernandez possesses a buyout option in his contract set at €4.5 million, available for activation this summer. However, this amount will increase to €9 million after the end of August.

Other Prospects

In addition to Fernandez, United is also evaluating another promising defender, Sedi Kinteh from Tromsø. The Gambian talent is not only on United’s radar but is also being observed by Chelsea and the Swiss club Young Boys.
