Jack Wilshere Poised to Become New Manager of Luton Town
Arsenal legend Jack Wilshere is on the verge of taking over as the manager of Luton Town.
Luton Town’s Board Backing Wilshere
Reports from BBC Sport indicate that Wilshere is the top choice for Luton’s management role following the recent sacking of Matt Bloomfield.
Though Richie Wellens is also in the mix for the position, he is currently seen as the second option behind Wilshere.
Coaching Background
Previously, Wilshere served as the U18 coach for Arsenal before moving to Norwich City last year, where he ended the season as the interim manager. However, he departed from Carrow Road after discovering he would not be in the running for the permanent coaching role.
Team’s Current Performance
Luton Town is currently experiencing challenges, having faced five losses in their first 11 matches, which places them 11th in League One.
