The recently promoted team is actively seeking a new manager for the third time this season following the confirmation of their decision to part ways with Luis Carrión, aged 46.

A Brief History

Carrión was brought in to succeed Veljko Paunovic, who had led Real Oviedo to its promotion to La Liga last October. However, Paunovic’s tenure was cut short after just eight games.

Real Oviedo made an official statement announcing Carrión’s dismissal: “Real Oviedo have taken the decision to terminate Luis Carrión’s contract as coach of the first team.”
