Lookman Targets Consistency After Scoring In Atalanta’s Draw With AC Milan

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman says he is focused on maintaining consistency after finding the net in his side’s 1–1 stalemate with AC Milan at the Gewiss Stadium.

The Nigerian international struck a well-timed equaliser with a calm left-footed finish, cancelling out Samuele Ricci’s early goal for the Rossoneri.

The effort marked Lookman’s first goal of the Serie A season and a promising sign of his return to top form after a slow start.

Speaking to DAZN after the game, Lookman reflected on his performance and fitness, saying,“It was important to be available to the team again.

“I hope to get even more fit. It took me a while, but now we have to grow and aim to win the next few games. When I’m on the pitch, the most important thing is to help the team win.”

His return to scoring ways provides a crucial lift for Ivan Jurić’s side, who have been solid but have struggled to turn their dominance into wins during their recent five-game drawing streak.

Lookman, 28, remains a vital piece in Atalanta’s attacking setup, offering both creativity and composure in the final third.

As La Dea prepare to face Torino in their next Serie A fixture, the Super Eagles star will be hoping to build on his renewed confidence and inspire his side back to winning form.
