Llorente Praises Tudor’s Management of Vlahovic

Former Juventus striker Fernando Llorente has commended coach Igor Tudor for his effective management of Dusan Vlahovic.

Despite concerns about his contract situation, Vlahovic has made a remarkable start to the current season with Juventus.

Llorente shared his thoughts with La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Although the contract situation remains unchanged, Tudor’s approach to managing Vlahovic is different: he has a brilliant rapport with him.”

Building Confidence in Key Matches

“Dusan’s participation in the Derby d’Italia, one of the key matches of the season, is a clear indication of the unwavering confidence the coach has in him. It seems that there is a strong connection between Tudor and Vlahovic,” he explained.

Llorente emphasized, “Believe me, if Dusan sensed any inequality in how he is treated compared to his teammates, he wouldn’t play with such enthusiasm, nor would he find the back of the net consistently.”

Competition in the Juventus Attack

Discussing Juventus’s attacking front, which saw the recent signings of Jonathan David and Lois Openda, Llorente expressed: “I have a particular admiration for Dusan, but during my commentary on the Champions League for Prime Video last year, I was really impressed by both David and Openda against Juventus.”

He concluded, “When the coach instills confidence in all players, that competition becomes beneficial: during my time at Juventus, we had five or six strikers competing for spots.”
