The Welsh international has returned after a successful stint with the Birmingham club.

Liverpool made the announcement last night: “Jason Koumas has rejoined Liverpool following his loan period at Birmingham City.”

“The young player, who is 20 years old, secured a temporary transfer to the Championship club last August and went on to make 25 appearances across all competitions, scoring once.”

“This was his second loan in the English second division, having previously spent the 2024-25 season at Stoke City.”

“Koumas, who has earned nine caps for Wales, celebrated a remarkable debut for Liverpool’s first team in an Emirates FA Cup match against Southampton back in February 2024. He joined the Reds’ Academy after moving from Tranmere Rovers when he was just 11 years old.”
