The Liberia Football Association (Liberia FA) has kicked off a three-day Women’s Football Capacity-Building and Safeguarding Workshop in Voinjama, Lofa County, aimed at boosting leadership and protection standards in the game.
The FIFA-backed initiative, themed “Empower Her, Inspire Greatness,” gathered 35 local football officials from four sub-committees for intensive training sessions focused on leadership, management, and safeguarding.
Earlier in the month, a similar FIFA-funded program for Member Association staff and volunteers wrapped up on October 12, after three days of practical learning.
Participants gained hands-on experience and strategies to drive the growth of women’s football across the country.
Liberia FA Third Vice President Jodie Reid Seton applauded FIFA’s continued commitment to women’s football development and praised the participants’ enthusiasm.
She urged them to stay proactive and use their new skills to strengthen the women’s game nationwide.
