Tickets: Resale Market Available
The upcoming home game against Bayer Leverkusen has reached full capacity, accommodating 81,365 fans, including 6,100 from the visiting team. The resale market will be active until 13:00 CEST on the day of the match. Individuals holding tickets can legally re-sell their season passes or single-day tickets via the BVB ticket shop if they are unable to attend at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. There’s no need to physically surrender tickets, as they can be electronically deactivated and later reactivated. This resale option is provided for all sold-out home games.
Live Coverage: Sky and Netradio
The clash will be broadcast live on Sky Television, with coverage commencing at 14:00 CEST. Michael Leopold will present the program, accompanied by expert analysis from Dietmar Hamann. Commentary will be delivered by Martin Groß, accessible through Sky Sport Bundesliga and UHD/HDR. BVB Netradio will also cover the event, featuring familiar voices, Norbert Dickel and Boris Rupert. The Netradio broadcast will kick off 15 minutes before the game starts, available to all via the homepage and the BVB app on both iPhone and Android. A match summary, as well as insights from the press conference and post-game remarks, will be featured later on BVB-TV.
Kits: BVB in Classic Colors
Borussia Dortmund will don their traditional yellow home kit, complete with black shorts and yellow socks. Bayer Leverkusen will sport a red and white uniform, paired with white shorts and socks.
Weather: Warm and Partly Cloudy
The weather outlook for Saturday indicates a mix of sunshine and clouds, with afternoon temperatures reaching up to 21 degrees Celsius. There is a 70 percent chance of rain later in the evening.
Referee: Aytekin Takes Charge
Deniz Aytekin, a former FIFA official, will referee his 38th, and possibly final, Bundesliga match involving Borussia Dortmund. His record with the team boasts 21 victories, six draws, and ten defeats. Aytekin, who plans to retire at the season’s end, will be supported by assistant referees Christian Leicher and Dr. Martin Thomsen. Pascal Müller will act as the video assistant referee (VAR). This will be Aytekin’s first match involving BVB in nearly a year, as he previously officiated their away game against Leverkusen (4-2) on the second-to-last matchday of the last season, marking his fifth time refereeing this fixture.
Arrival: Ticket Includes Travel
BVB and DSW21 continue to offer a unique service in the Bundesliga: the match ticket for SIGNAL IDUNA PARK allows for free travel to and from the stadium throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. This provision also extends to holders of plastic season tickets. However, those with a “Print@Home ticket” or a “mobile ticket” (such as via Apple Wallet) will need to obtain a complimentary public transport ticket online, in addition to their match entry ticket.
