Lester Becomes Part of Brentford’s Coaching Team

Lester joins Brentford coaching staff

Jack Lester Joins Brentford as Assistant Coach

Jack Lester has been appointed as the new assistant coach at Brentford.

Previous Experience

Lester transitions from his role at Sheffield United, where he also served as an assistant coach for the Wales national team. He has collaborated with Brentford’s manager, Keith Andrews, during their time at Sheffield United.

Timing of Appointment

His joining comes in the wake of Martin Dury’s unexpected exit last week.

“We’ve been looking to fill this position for quite a while,” Andrews stated.

“In recent weeks, we’ve had discussions with Jack regarding the role, and collectively, we believe he is the ideal candidate for this position.”

“We place a significant emphasis on individual player development, which is integral to our club’s ethos. We want Jack to consolidate this aspect and advance the remarkable work accomplished by Steven Pressley over the last four years.”

“Having worked with Jack at Sheffield United, I have experienced his ability to enhance player performance firsthand, and I appreciate his dedication to player development. His principles align perfectly with the values of our football club.”
