Aiming for Extended Tenure
Leandro Trossard has revealed his desire to secure a new contract with Arsenal, just a few months after having his previous one updated with the club.
From Summer Uncertainty to Contract Renewal
The 30-year-old winger was anticipated to depart Arsenal during the summer shift, yet instead, he was granted a new agreement that enhanced his salary.
Performance and Future Aspirations
Despite the new deal not prolonging his stay at the Emirates, it has resulted in an increase in his earnings. Trossard has had a strong start to the current season, netting three goals and earning four assists over 13 matches across various competitions.
Feeling optimistic about his future, he expressed his hopes for an extension in an interview, stating:
I have two years remaining, and after that, we’ll see what the club’s perspective is, and where I stand at that time.
He further added,
I’m really enjoying my time at Arsenal and feel content here. It’s an incredible club, and given our current momentum, I look forward to achieving success with Arsenal.
