Insigne is keen to continue his playing career, and Sarri is reportedly looking to re-sign him, according to sources from Il Messaggero.

However, sporting director Angelo Fabiani prefers to emphasize the acquisition of younger talent, particularly given the constraints of a limited transfer budget, which prevented Lazio from making major signings over the summer.

While Insigne’s current free agency presents an opportunity for Lazio, any potential move will likely be postponed until January. Nevertheless, Sarri remains enthusiastic about incorporating the veteran playmaker into his team, even if the deal is not finalized until the start of the New Year.
