Bayern Munich’s Coach Comments on Lennart Karl’s Real Madrid Aspirations

Bayern Munich’s manager, Vincent Kompany, recently addressed the lighthearted banter Lennart Karl has faced from his teammates following the young player’s remarks about wanting to play for Real Madrid in the future.

During a recent question-and-answer session with fans, Karl openly expressed his desire to eventually join Real Madrid.

“Bayern is an incredible club, and it’s truly a dream to play here. Yet, I aspire to wear the Real Madrid jersey someday; it has always been my dream club,” Karl stated during the event.

In light of the fans’ reactions to his comments, the 17-year-old approached the club’s management to convey his apologies for any misunderstanding.

Kompany’s Response to the Situation

Prior to Bayern’s upcoming match against Wolfsburg, Kompany was questioned about the situation involving Karl.

“It might have been a minor miscommunication. Nevertheless, he is just 17 and is capable of focusing on his priorities,” Kompany explained.

Teasing in the Locker Room

Kompany also mentioned that the remarks did not go unnoticed among the players.

“He has faced some light-hearted teasing in the locker room, but it’s all in good fun. As long as he continues to train diligently and gives his best effort, he has my full support,” Kompany added.
