The Bundesliga club 1.FC Köln has officially announced the extension of Fynn Schenten’s contract, a promising talent from their academy, through an online statement.

The 18-year-old striker made his debut in the Bundesliga earlier this year against 1.FC Heidenheim and has now committed to the club until 2030.

Schenten has been part of 1.FC Köln since he was eight years old, progressing through all levels of their youth setup at Geißbockheim.

During the previous season, he contributed to the under-19 team’s success by scoring nine goals and helping them clinch the German Championship title.

“Fynn has followed an exceptional development path. He has risen through the ranks at Geißbockheim and caught everyone’s attention with outstanding performances in the U-19 squad. As a reward, he received an opportunity to practice with the first team prior to the winter break and demonstrated his abilities during the Winter training camp,” stated technical director Lukas Berg.
