Departure of Sporting Director Marco Ottolini

Sporting director Marco Ottolini has officially parted ways with Genoa.

The decision was made collaboratively, resulting in the termination of Ottolini’s contract.

New Appointment in Progress

Genoa is expected to announce Diego Lopez, who previously managed Lens, as the new sporting director.

Conversely, there is speculation regarding Ottolini’s potential return to Juventus. The club is currently in search of a new sporting director.

Juve’s General Manager Damien Comolli remarked during today’s introduction of new head coach Luciano Spalletti: “The search continues, and we will update you when appropriate.”
