“The circumstances are quite straightforward,” stated sporting director Giorgio Chiellini regarding the failed pursuit of En-Nesyri. “We engaged in discussions with him, but he had certain reservations about the terms of the transfer. Consequently, we consider negotiations concerning him to be concluded. We are not prepared to purchase him outright.”

Chiellini added, “We’ll monitor the situation in the coming days to see if new opportunities arise, but for now, we consider the matter closed.”

New Prospects

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is now pursuing Zirkzee, even though Manchester United’s new manager, Michael Carrick, has indicated to the player that he wishes for him to remain at the club.

Meanwhile, AS Roma has abandoned its interest in Zirkzee, but Juventus plans to reach out with the goal of finalizing a deal this week.
