Jonathan David Acknowledges Inter Transfer Interest, Aims for Dynamic Duo with Dusan Vlahovic at Juventus

Jonathan David Reveals Inter Transfer Offer, Confident in Juventus Partnership with Dusan Vlahovic

Jonathan David’s Transfer Insights and Future at Juventus

Jonathan David has recently disclosed that he had an offer from Inter Milan before opting to join Juventus, expressing optimism about developing a solid partnership with Dusan Vlahovic.

The 25-year-old forward made the move to the Serie A powerhouse as a free agent after concluding his tenure with French club Lille at the end of the previous season.

Discussions with Inter Milan

As Juventus prepares to face Inter Milan on September 13, David opened up about his previous discussions with Cristian Chivu’s team.

When interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport regarding the status of the potential transfer, David shared, “Not that close. I’ve had discussions with my agent, but they haven’t been in-depth. I’m very happy at Juventus.”

Partnership with Dusan Vlahovic

When asked about the possibility of partnering with Vlahovic, David replied, “Yes, it’s possible. But these are decisions for the coach; it’s more of a question for Tudor.”

He further elaborated, “I’m ready for any solution and I’m having fun no matter what. Dusan and I push each other on the pitch because we want the best for the team.”

David emphasized his adaptability, saying, “I feel comfortable in both situations; they’re systems I know. In recent seasons, I’ve played as a lone striker for the club, but for the national team, I’ve always partnered with another striker. It’s not a big difference for me; I enjoy it either way.”
