Possible Reunion with Former Manager

Ivan Toney is reportedly interested in transferring to Tottenham Hotspur, which could lead to a reunion with his previous coach at Brentford, Thomas Frank.

The 29-year-old striker departed from Brentford in the summer of 2024, signing with the Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli for an estimated transfer fee of £40 million.

Interest from Toney Amidst Club Hesitation

As reported by TalkSPORT, Toney is eager to rejoin his former manager at Tottenham; however, Al Ahli appears unwilling to grant his exit.

With Dominic Solanke struggling with a lingering ankle issue and Randal Kolo Muani currently sidelined due to a fractured jaw, Frank is looking to enhance his attacking options by bringing in another forward.

Toney has made a remarkable start to the current season, netting 11 goals and contributing two assists in 15 appearances thus far.
