New Contract Negotiations Not Yet Initiated

Bournemouth’s head coach, Andoni Iraola, has confirmed that discussions regarding a new contract have yet to begin.

Iraola indicated that his contract status was not a topic of conversation during club owner Bill Foley’s recent visit to the UK last week.

Iraola’s Comments

Iraola remarked, “Yes, we had lunch during some training sessions because he came to observe several of our practices. We had the opportunity to spend time together and engage in conversation.”

He continued, “We discussed a wide range of topics, but not specifically about the contract, which I know you are curious about.”

Ongoing Communication

When pressed about formal contract discussions, Iraola elaborated: “No, we have not had a formal meeting in an office setting. However, we communicate regularly. I interact with Simon (Francis), Tiago (Pinto), and Bill frequently, even through messaging.”

He concluded, “We have established a good rapport, and there will be time for discussions whenever we choose.”
