Otto Addo’s Selections

Head Coach Otto Addo has announced the inclusion of three players who are set to make their international debuts during the upcoming friendlies against Japan and South Korea.

New Call-Ups

The new additions to the squad include:

  • Prince Kwabena Adu (Attacker, Czech Republic);
  • Kelvin Nkrumah (Winger, Medeama SC);
  • Prince Osei Owusu (Forward, CF Montréal).

Player Profiles

Prince Kwabena Adu: Formerly with Bechem United, Adu has shown strong performance consistency in the Czech Republic, earning a chance to secure a place in the national setup.

Prince Osei Owusu: A striker for CF Montréal, Owusu previously played for Toronto FC, where he scored nine goals in 31 appearances over two seasons. Originally from Wertheim, Germany, he developed through the VfB Stuttgart academy, making his professional debut with the reserve team in 2015. He later joined TSG Hoffenheim, scoring 17 times over two campaigns, followed by a stint in the 2. Bundesliga with Arminia Bielefeld. He then spent a productive loan spell at TSV 1860 Munich, where he recorded eight goals and six assists across all competitions. His recent form has attracted the attention of the Black Stars coaching staff.

Kelvin Nkrumah: A standout performer in the Ghana Premier League, Nkrumah has played a key role in Medeama SC’s rise to second place on the league table. His skills were also important in helping the Black Satellites win gold at the 2024 African Games football tournament.

Training Camp

Otto Addo is set to hold his first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday, ahead of the 2025 Kirin Cup match against Japan, scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025.
