Piero Ausilio Dismisses Neymar Transfer Speculation

Inter Milan’s director Piero Ausilio has firmly denied any rumors regarding a potential transfer of Santos forward Neymar.

No Move for Neymar

There have been reports suggesting that Inter Milan could be one of the clubs interested in bringing the former Barcelona and PSG player back to Europe in January. However, Ausilio was quick to quash such claims.

In a statement to Il Corriere dello Sport, he remarked, “Let’s be real, it’s nonsense. I’ve never heard of it and there has been no offer… absolute nonsense.”

Content with Current Position

The director also addressed the attempts by Al-Hilal to recruit him during the summer for a move to the Saudi Pro League.

He stated, “There’s not much to elaborate on. I’m pleased where I am, with a contract that extends until 2027. Previously, I have received offers that were financially superior, yet I have chosen to remain here.”

Support for Fabio Paratici

Furthermore, Ausilio expressed his support for sports director Fabio Paratici upon Paratici’s return to Tottenham following a previous ban from FIFA.

He noted, “I’m delighted for him; he is one of the most respected and capable individuals in the field. I won’t comment on the matter of sporting justice; I can only say that he possesses the necessary qualifications to work effectively.”
