Star forward Insigne was rumored to be moving to Lazio under manager Maurizio Sarri earlier this month, but he has ultimately decided to play for Pescara.

Insigne previously played under Sarri during his time at Napoli before transferring to Toronto FC in 2022.

He has now committed to Pescara for the remainder of the season, looking to make an impact.

The 34-year-old had a successful loan spell at Pescara during the 2011/2012 season, where he netted 18 goals and assisted 14 times in just 37 league appearances.
