Early Ticket Draw for FIFA World Cup 2026 Now Open
Important Details for Entry
- Fans need to visit FIFA.com/tickets to participate, even if they previously entered the Visa Presale Draw.
- This phase includes a designated time slot for residents of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The next phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, known as the Early Ticket Draw, is officially underway. Due to high demand during the Visa Presale Draw, another one million tickets are now up for grabs in this phase.
Entry Period Timeline
The Early Ticket Draw is accessible from now until October 31 at 11 a.m. ET (16:00 CET). Entry timing does not affect a fan’s chances. Those with a FIFA ID should log in to enter at FIFA.com/tickets, while new users will need to create an account on that site.
Domestic Exclusivity for Host Countries
All fans are eligible to enter, and residents of the host nations will have a priority time slot. Once the entry period concludes, selected participants from Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. will be randomly chosen for an exclusive buying time starting November 12. This slot will be open for 72 hours, depending on ticket availability. Successful entrants will receive confirmation at least 48 hours ahead.
During this exclusive window, fans from the host countries can purchase Single Match Tickets for matches within their borders. Tickets for cross-border games will not be available at this time, with 75% of Single Match Tickets reserved for the domestic priority slot.
Previous Sales Performance
In the earlier sales phase, residents of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico purchased the highest number of tickets, followed closely by fans from England, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, and France, comprising the top ten in demand.
Heimo Schirgi, Chief Operating Officer for FIFA World Cup 2026, noted, “There’s been significant interest globally, especially from the host nations, as they get ready to welcome the largest FIFA World Cup ever. This second phase, with its domestic priority time, serves as a gesture of thanks to local fans while also providing global opportunities.”
Future Ticket Sales Phases
After the domestic exclusivity window, all fans who entered the Early Ticket Draw will have a chance in a randomized selection for additional time slots starting November 17. This will allow fans to purchase Single Match Tickets and Team Specific Tickets for games across all three host countries. Confirmation will again be provided 48 hours before the time slot.
Upcoming Ticket Availability:
- Random Selection Draw Phase: Begins in the weeks following the Final Draw on December 5. During this phase, fans can apply for specific matches once group-stage matchups are determined.
- First-Come, First-Served Sales: Closer to the tournament, available tickets will be sold based on the order of request.
Tickets and hospitality packages, which include match access, can already be purchased at FIFA.com/hospitality. Fans should refrain from acquiring tickets through unofficial channels as they may not be valid.
Payment Information
Visa, recognized globally as a leader in digital payments, is FIFA’s Official Payment Technology Partner, facilitating ticket purchases. Other payment options are also accepted during the Early Ticket Draw.
Additional Information
A match ticket does not grant admission to a host country. It is advisable for fans to check each host nation’s government website for entry regulations. For further inquiries, including FAQ and the Official Rules of the Early Ticket Draw, fans should visit FIFA.com/tickets. No purchase is required to take part in the draw, but participants must be at least 18 years old.
