Don Hutchison Critiques Alexander Isak’s Transfer Conduct
Former Players Exchange Views
Ex-Liverpool player Don Hutchison has expressed his disappointment with Alexander Isak’s recent actions regarding his transfer. Hutchison, who has also played for Newcastle, was critical of Isak’s approach as he transitioned from Newcastle to Liverpool in the previous summer.
Concerns Over Professionalism
Hutchison stated, “There’s no doubt about it. Alexander Isak should have conducted himself with more professionalism during the summer, and now he’s facing the repercussions. He should have recognized the broader implications of his decisions.”
He continued, “He shouldn’t have been so self-centered and should have continued training with Newcastle, even if he knew a move was imminent. If the transfer hadn’t materialized, he would have needed to maintain his fitness to play for Newcastle.”
Hutchison emphasized, “Isak’s actions were both unprofessional and immature. It seems that his agent did not provide him with sound advice or guidance throughout the summer. Typically, when you join a club like Liverpool, it is crucial to start positively. Now, he faces a challenge to catch up, a situation brought about by his own conduct.”
