Tigers’ head coach Sergej Jakirovic has confirmed that discussions have been initiated with Manchester United regarding a loan arrangement for Collyer for the remainder of the season.

Jakirovic is enthusiastic about the potential acquisition, stating to BBC Humberside Sport: “If there’s an opportunity for a loan, I would like to pursue it.”

Collyer is under contract with Manchester United until 2027.
