PSV Eindhoven are weighing the possibility of signing Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech.

The former Chelsea star is a free agent following his departure from Qatari side Al-Duhail.

According to Dutch outlet Eindhovens Dagblad, the 32-year-old has offered his services to PSV.

The club is currently assessing the opportunity to bring him back to the Eredivisie.

The potential move comes at a crucial time, with young forward Ruben van Bommel sidelined by a long-term injury.

Because Hakim Ziyech is unattached, he would be eligible to sign outside the transfer window.

This gives PSV additional flexibility they seek to reinforce their attacking options.

Head coach Peter Bosz is a key figure in the decision-making process.

Bosz managed Ziyech at Ajax Amsterdam, where the playmaker flourished, and has consistently spoken highly of his creativity and influence on the pitch.

When the deal is completed, Ziyech would reunite with fellow international Ismael Saibari in Eindhoven. His signing will undoubtedly add depth and experience to PSV’s squad.

Ziyech is no stranger to Dutch football, having begun his career in the Eredivisie.

He represented Heerenveen and Twente before becoming a standout performer at Ajax, where his performances earned him a move to Chelsea in 2020.

PSV are now considering whether his return to the Netherlands could provide the spark they need in their push for domestic and European success.
