In response to these claims, Haaland’s representative, Rafaela Pimenta, provided clarification during an interview with La Sexta. She refuted the notion that any discussions had occurred between the relevant parties regarding a potential transfer.

• No Contact: “While we hold Barcelona in high regard, there has been no engagement between us about a possible move,” Pimenta declared.
• Haaland’s Contentment: She also noted that Haaland is very pleased at Manchester City, having just extended his contract a few months back. “He is thriving there, so discussions regarding a transfer are unnecessary.”
