Preparation at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre
The U-15 Girls’ national team from Ghana will gather at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram to enhance their training for the upcoming 2025 WAFU B African Schools Football Championship. This tournament is set to be held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from November 29 to December 4, 2025.
Assembling the Squad
A provisional squad consisting of 37 players will come together at the GFA technical centre to engage in rigorous training and team-building activities as they gear up for their title defense.
Defending Champions
Representing Ghana as the defending champions, the young athletes head to Burkina Faso after securing both the WAFU B African Schools Football Championship trophy in Niger and the CAF African Schools Football Championship title on home territory in Accra last year.
High Expectations
The anticipation around the team is considerable as they strive to duplicate their past achievements and reinforce Ghana’s leading position in youth football within the region. The coaching staff will concentrate on honing tactics, enhancing fitness, and fostering team unity to ensure that the squad is adequately prepared for the upcoming challenges.
CAF’s Commitment to Grassroots Development
The CAF African Schools Football Championship is part of a wider initiative by CAF to nurture grassroots football across the continent, providing young talents with a stage to display their skills and acquire crucial international exposure.
Aiming for Continued Success
With a strong track record and a robust preparation strategy, Ghana’s U-15 Girls are ready to fiercely defend their title and maintain their nation’s pride in West African youth football.
