Galatasaray Push For Ademola Lookman Loan Deal

The January transfer window is fast approaching, and Ademola Lookman is once again attracting major interest after a move in the summer failed to happen.

Reports in Turkey suggest Galatasaray are working on a proposal to lure the Atalanta forward away from Bergamo.

Journalist Ekrem Konur indicates the Turkish champions want a loan deal that includes an option to buy, hoping it will help them manage Atalanta’s valuation, which sits around €55–60 million.

Galatasaray may also rely on fellow Nigerian Victor Osimhen to help convince Lookman to consider Istanbul as his next destination.

However, several European clubs are monitoring the situation closely.

Inter Milan, AS Roma, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, West Ham, and Aston Villa have all been linked and are prepared to challenge for his signature.

Lookman remains contracted to Atalanta until 2027 and is currently valued at about €40 million on the market.

He has featured 10 times this season across all competitions, scoring once.
