Alex Iwobi Inspires Fulham To Victory Over Brentford

Fulham came from behind to claim a 3–1 victory over west London rivals Brentford in Saturday’s Premier League clash, with Alex Iwobi playing a starring role.

The visitors struck first when Mikkel Damsgaard finished in the 20th minute to silence the home crowd.

But Fulham responded through Iwobi, who fired home the equaliser in the 38th minute.

Just two minutes later, Alex Iwobi turned provider, setting up Harry Wilson to complete the turnaround before half-time.

Fulham carried their momentum into the second half and were rewarded with a third goal.

Ryan Sessegnon’s teasing cross caused confusion in the Brentford defence, with Ethan Pinnock misjudging his header and inadvertently putting the ball into his own net.

The victory lifts Fulham to seventh in the Premier League table, underlining their strong start to the season.

Brentford, meanwhile, slipped to 17th and remain searching for consistency after another frustrating afternoon.
