Fulham Initiates Contract Negotiations with Marco Silva

Fulham is set to begin discussions regarding a new contract for their manager, Marco Silva.

The Portuguese coach has captured the attention of several larger clubs and was previously a candidate for Nottingham Forest before they opted for free agent Sean Dyche following the departure of Ange Postecoglou.

New Contract Talks

According to The Athletic, Fulham’s management has communicated their intention to Silva, who is 48 years old, to extend his current contract, which is due to expire at the conclusion of the season.

While there have not been any formal talks as of now, there is a shared optimism from both parties about the potential for a favorable agreement.

Silva has led the Cottagers since 2021. His existing deal contains an exit clause estimated at around €17 million.
