Fulham Negotiating to Acquire Man City Winger Bobb

Potential Transfer Details

Fulham is currently engaged in discussions to bring winger Oscar Bobb from Manchester City to their squad. The 22-year-old talent has fallen down the ranks at City after the recent acquisition of forward Antoine Semenyo for £62.5 million.

There have been reports suggesting that conversations have occurred between the two clubs, although Fulham has yet to submit an official offer. Bobb has garnered additional interest from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, and this season he has made 15 appearances without scoring.

Recent Performance and Injuries

Bobb’s last match took place on December 17 against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, where he left the field with an injury in the first 20 minutes. Ahead of their Champions League group match against Bodo/Glimt, City’s manager Pep Guardiola commented on Bobb’s fitness, stating, “He says he is not fit, so he is not fit.”

The signing of Semenyo increases competition for the right-wing position, also occupied by Brazilian player Savinho. This situation makes it likely that Bobb could exit the club this month, either through a loan or a permanent deal.

Fulham’s Current Standing

Under Marco Silva’s management, Fulham has performed well, losing only one of their last seven matches. Currently placed 11th in the Premier League, the team has advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

On the international stage, Bobb has represented Norway six times this year and was instrumental in helping the national team qualify for this summer’s World Cup. If the transfer goes through, he would join fellow Norwegian Sander Berge at Craven Cottage. Last season, Bobb was sidelined for nearly the entire duration after suffering a leg fracture during a training session in August 2024.
