Chris Coleman Takes the Helm at Asteras Tripolis
Former head coach of the Wales national team, Chris Coleman, has made a return to management.
New Position at Asteras Tripolis
Coleman has been appointed as the head coach of the Greek side Asteras Tripolis. He will be joined by Giorgos Korakakis and Dimitris Konstantopoulos, who will serve as part of his coaching team.
A Rich Coaching Background
In addition to guiding Wales to the semifinals of the 2016 European Championship, Coleman’s managerial experience includes stints at Fulham, Coventry City, and Sunderland in England, as well as managing the prominent LaLiga club Real Sociedad.

In his initial remarks after taking up the new role, Coleman expressed enthusiasm for the challenge ahead. “I’m excited to embark on this journey. I have a strong understanding of Asteras; it’s a reputable club currently facing challenges, but I believe it has the ability to recover. Actions speak louder than words.”
