Nottingham Forest in Competition for Flamengo’s Leo Ortiz
Nottingham Forest is in a race with top Serie A clubs to secure the services of Flamengo’s Leo Ortiz.
The 29-year-old defender, who transferred to Flamengo from RB Bragantino only a year ago, is anticipated to make a move to Europe in January.
Interest from Major Clubs
According to reports from Bolavip, Forest’s director, Edu, is particularly interested in Ortiz. However, they are up against significant competition from some of the most prominent teams in Italy.
Both Napoli, Juventus, and Roma have shown interest in acquiring Ortiz, but Nottingham Forest is pushing ahead with their plans.
Instead of postponing their bid until the next summer transfer window, Forest aims to place an offer for the Brazilian international in January.
