Fernandes expressed, “I hope to continue with Manchester United as long as I sense that I am wanted.”

Aspirations Beyond United

• Interest in Spain and Italy: “I am intrigued by the idea of playing in Spain and competing for significant titles in Italy. I have numerous ties to Italy… my daughter was born there.”

• Return to Portugal?: “I have contemplated going back to Portugal… my preferred choice would be Sporting. I want to find happiness, similar to what I experienced with Sporting. However, I am cautious about preserving the positive legacy I’ve created.”

Thoughts on Playing in Local Leagues

“I do not wish to merely exist there; I aim to contribute. Additionally, I would consider participating in local football, even in my older age. Playing at that level is driven by passion, which creates a different feeling. I have friends involved in local football.”
