Since taking the helm as head coach in April 2023, Sebastian Hoeneß has been focused on developing VfB Stuttgart’s potential. He acknowledges that there is still much progress to be made, which should resonate positively with the club’s supporters.

“I am wholeheartedly dedicated to VfB and aim to achieve as much success as possible,” the 43-year-old conveyed in a recent discussion with ‘kicker’. Stuttgart has seen a strong performance in the Bundesliga lately, currently holding the third position. This places them in an ideal position to secure a spot in the Champions League once again. Additionally, they remain active in the Europa League and are contending for the title.

Rumors of Departure

Due to his successful tenure, speculation regarding a possible departure has been persistent. Addressing these rumors, Hoeneß remarked, “This has been ongoing for two years. It’s something that I cannot change. However, I’m here to stay.” His current contract with Stuttgart extends until 2028.
