The match burst into action early, with Sylvia Mwinibamogna of Upper West scoring in the 3rd minute. Western Region equalized just before halftime through Charity Billingham in the 39th minute, which set the stage for a gripping second half. However, Upper West regained dominance with Rukaya Sulemana’s goal in the 59th minute, and Mwinibamogna capped her performance by converting a penalty in the 75th minute, marking her second goal of the match.
