Moyes Seeking Goal-Scoring Reinforcements

Everton is considering signing players from within the Premier League to strengthen their squad, focusing on manager David Moyes’ need for an improved offensive line.

Moyes is troubled by the team’s poor goal-scoring performance this season and is keen to acquire a new striker in the upcoming January transfer window.

Key Targets for Everton

According to Sky Sports‘ Rob Dorsett, the Toffees have their eyes on Manchester United forward Josh Zirkzee and Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus as potential additions.

  • Josh Zirkzee: A loan deal for the young striker appears possible, although Everton will face stiff competition from West Ham and clubs in Serie A seeking to sign the former Bologna player;
  • Gabriel Jesus: Everton is also monitoring the situation with Jesus, but much depends on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s willingness to allow the Brazilian forward to leave. Notably, Gabriel Jesus has just resumed training after recovering from a knee injury sustained last season.
