Unai Emery Suggests Potential January Activity for Aston Villa

Aston Villa’s manager, Unai Emery, has indicated that the club may look to make moves in the January transfer window.

“We are certainly receptive to making additions, and the club is actively pursuing this,” Emery stated in an interview with Sky Sports.

“Last year’s transfer activity was truly remarkable. The contributions from (Donyell) Malen, Rashford, Asensio, and Disasi were invaluable,” he added.

“This year, we need to stay prepared and focus on how we can enhance our squad if necessary.”

Summer Investments

During the summer transfer period, Aston Villa invested slightly over £26 million to secure Evann Guessand and Marco Bizot, while also bringing in Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott on loan.
