Bilal El Khannouss Reflects on Transition to German Football
Recent Move to VfB Stuttgart
As the summer transfer window drew to a close, Bilal El Khannouss made the switch from Leicester City, a club in the English Championship, to VfB Stuttgart in Germany.
Initial Impressions in the Bundesliga
Following two matches with his new team, the 21-year-old midfielder has expressed his early thoughts about playing in Germany.
“I’ve noticed that football in England is quite different – the pace is more intense, and everything unfolds a bit quicker,” El Khannouss shared in an interview with Bild.
“The primary distinction between the two leagues is this intensity. I’m still adapting to the Bundesliga, but I’m confident that I will adjust.”
Success on the Field
El Khannouss has been an active participant in Stuttgart’s last two matches, where he notably netted his inaugural Bundesliga goal during a 2-0 victory against St. Pauli on Friday.
